9th August Monday. i felt lucky to be invited to my SAS fren Martina's daughter's 1st bdae party. beside Martina, Diana i dun seemed to be in contact with the rest. thou we dun chat often, i appreciate that i was invited. we were an hour late but we seemed to be the very 1st few to arrive. i was just glad we were not the last.... i hate to be late but since had a baby, we have to leave according to baby's schedule.
we were lucky to be the 1st few, there were less kids and we are able to play in the ball pen and baby R played her 1st slide here at the party! super big thanks to Martina for organising her party with such big playground. this is the 1st time daddy and mummy brought baby R to play in such children activity.
baby r was at first blown away with the number of balls in this pen and i ended up having a red nose shot by daddy! baby R has to thank her daddy for allowing her to slide thru on her own! they are always trying things behind my back! when they succeed they will come tell me!
not sure if the car rides were arranged by Martina. there were 3 cars to choose from. we didnt put in any coins for baby R. she had good fun by jus playing with the stirring wheel. this kept her pretty pre-occupied for awhile. she moved from car to car but she loved the 1st car best. mummy is frightened of clowns so i didnt put any pics of her in that car in this post!
i told daddy that i did look into having a party exactly here for baby R's 1st bdae. i didnt cos we managed to find a fairy themed venue. daddy say that we can hold baby R's bdae here next time... wonder which bdae... he only say when she can climb on her own and enjoy herself in the maze! i aim to hold by 3 years old... if not 5 years old... haha if the place is still around by then....
while i eat, daddy played with her in the ball pen.... and they sure play rough! baby r got slammed into the balls! daddy allowed her to move on her own and she lost her balance! when i was done with the food, it was daddy's turn to eat and i fed baby r her snacks.
baby r's own ice-cream cone!
an additional to the dessert, we were given mini cone ice-cream to little ones and magnums for adults! way cool! baby r had her very own ice-cream for the 1st time! she held onto her mini cone with surprise and she loves it! we didnt allow her to finish the cone of cos!
we stayed till the bdae song was sung. daddy had baby r on his shoulders and baby r clapped her hands for the bdae girl! i am very happy for my fren as she has many close loving relatives and she has a beautiful family of her own.
we didnt get to eat the cake as we were in a hurry to our next destination - our family's national day celebration. in the car, baby r got to check out her goody bag from the party. she looked so seriuos here but once i put the camera down to check out the toys with her, she was all smiles and had so much excitement that her new toys make different sounds!
