a nite at the museum!

the weather cleared up and with a filled tummy of good food, we head to our next destination! Back to SAM! on the 16th and 17th July, there is a nite of activities at all the museums in Singapore! We head back to SAM as i know baby R would enjoy it and dap's relative had a flea market stall at 8Q too! my chance to take some photos again with my museum mode with a more steady hand... almost suceeded, thou some blurred, more important was baby R enjoyed herself!

baby r's 1st flea market! i was excited as i would get to see Dap's little cousin Moon! I have known Dap since my Esprit days and we have exchanged news of our little cousins. Moon is a year older than nesa. but we didnt meet when we arrived as Moon went to have dinner. so we head into the familiar exhibit!

thou we were here before, 2nd time round, we had different photos. with Dap around, we had a chance to take a family shot at the HELLO STRANGER art piece! gosh i looked sooo huge! when i showed Gx this photo, he say i should be banned wearing big tops! i have lost weight! alittle more than my pre-preggy weight and when i wear a fitted tee, besides alittle pouch that i can't hide, i wasnt that huge!!! neither as skinny as i was before, i think i need to buy fitted tops more than baggy ones!!!

hop, Hop, hop, hOp, hop, HoP, hop, hoP, hop, HOp, hop, HOP!

so why is Dap and GX not in the walters' garden with me??? cos there was a signage to control crowd infront of the exhibit... priority is given to children and limited to 20... i was almost not allowed in and i told the guard she is only 13th months old and there wasnt many in the exhibit. with so few kids and all the "5-stones grass' gathered together at one side of the room, baby r wasnt really into playing for too long...

got dap to sit at the edge of the exhibit so that she can keep her shoes on & take a shot with baby R & me!

there were definitely more people in the robotic flower exhibit. daddy carried the little one and walked slowly beside the flower exhibit to let baby R watch the origami flowers grow and bloom! baby R was very engrossed looking at the moving flowers which is constantly growing, blooming and returning to original state! this is triggered by movement and there were so many people walking around the exhibit and it made the flowers look like they were doing wave at times!

when we told baby r we were gog, she hugged her daddy tightly, waved to the flowers on her own, muahmuah them and clapped for the flowers for the performance they did for her! baby R and i dressed to aunty dapdap's colour scheme! i was a copycat when i saw dap in her shorts, i wanted to be in shorts too and when i looked thru my wardrobe, i took out my new pokkadotted top to ask her how i should break the dots, dap told me a long necklace or belt would do the trick! so glad she is around cos the top sat in the wardrobe for a month cos i didnt know what to do with it! baby r was in a white tee with yellow dots! she wore demin shorts like her daddy!

thou there were many people in this jungle, we still managed to take shots like we are the only ones at the art exhibit! this i tot was pretty impossible but many of us at the exhibit were more patient and we make space for each other so that everyone can go home with nice shots! we took some similiar shots to replace those that we blur from our 1st visit and we took newer angles which we didnt manage to see the last time and i discovered more animals from this 2nd visit!

i was glad that we made a trip back as this wasnt a exhibit that will stay forever and i feel its such a waste as babyR and many other children, even adults loved the art work on the floor, on the wall and the hanging paintings made everyone feel like part of a story book!

i found it more fun somehow the 2nd time round. my eyes are not just on baby R like the last time round. i took sometime to see the place and the feel with many people around the art is different too. it was fun seeing people who had same idea and i was glad some shots were done without people around us as it was easier to get baby r's attention and no need to keep saying excuse me!

were we just looking at the art or are we part of the art?

******

my little dare devil! thou the place is filled with people, baby r wasnt scared. she wanted to walk, walk on her own! she wanted to make a dash out of the art work and she was blocked by daddy. she won't cry;.. she turned back and pretended to talk to the tiger.... and she tried making a dash again! after 3 tries, she was frustrated and wanted to throw tantrum and she got scooped up by daddy! aunty dapdap managed to catch a shot of baby R throwing her head back! she loves doing that on the bed, throwing her whole body backwards!

i hurried around the room to catch a footage of baby R roaming the jungle!

many thanks to dap who helped photographed many family shots and to gx who agreed to return to SAM!

dap helped us take a video of our little family dashing across the room making all the daisies disappear!

finally after so many years, i got to meet Moon! she is such a cheerful gal! love her smile!

baby R was alittle upset when Dap said goodbye! baby R recognises Dap. when she first arrive, i opened the door and when baby r saw aunty dapdap, she waved happily, smiling so cheerfully, walking very quickly over to greet dap! so when it was time to say goodbye, baby r felt sad. she knows how to feel sad but she would gather herself to be ready to wave goodbye on her own and send a flying muahmuah kiss!

cheeky gal kept making alot of noise with her little mouth! she wanted to give daddy a wet kiss and when daddy wanted to return one, she tried so hard to avoid daddy! in the car, baby r started making noises and it sounded like a pigeon! guess what! suddenly there were 2 pigeons comunicating in the car! daddy joined in the fun which drove me crazy!
