20th July 2010, Tuesday. yes daddy brought us to Manhattan.... fish market restaurant for dinner! Thou it wasnt exactly a holiday somewhere, it did felt like we were away... both daddy and i were in a very relax mode and we love our dressing down, haha somemore our whole family was in the same colour tone - black and green! the restaurant's booth seats at BJ8 made us feel like we are holidaying!
one reason baby R likes to be out is prob bcos she gets to eat her snack! when she goes out, she gets a treat of organic crackers, rice crisps and bread or sweet potato. she loves her carrots sticks and she has been trying new flavours of crackers! she enjoyed eating her snack and listening to the pop dancing music playing in the restaurant! she couldnt take her eyes off the guy who fired up the mayo prawns before serving us!
when we walked into the restaurant we saw the guy firing up a platter for another table and i asked the waitress whats that dish and we ordered the same platter for 2. we love the rice, the fish and calamari but i was very disappointed with the prawns... the one they fired up... cos it was fired up mayo and not cheese and it taste sweet.... too sweet for my liking! overall we enjoyed the food.

our dining experience was quite good as the service staff were mostly friendly haha except the one who fired up our dinner... face a little black compared to the smiley collegues of his! baby r made friends with most of the lady waitresses while alittle shy with the guys! after dinner, we went to see jewellary for my future sil. my sis came to join us and we took a very long time to choose the items and baby r was very pipi making alot of noise when she ran out of patience being in the same shop, having nothing interesting to capture her attention. that did spoil the nite but i can't blame her as children's attention span is really short.
