24th december. my inlaws didnt work and they helped me looked after the little one while i was way busy with making the videos for viewing at the party! daddy knocked off late and he rushed thru his shower and we made it to the party and we werent the last to arrive! yes i coordinated our colours to match our little girl! love the ornaments on the xmas tree!
arranged a bouquet of flowers esp for my aunt o on behalf of the family to thank her for organising almost all the parties in year 2009! the flowers turned out pretty in the red velvet cloth wrapper. told the lady that i wanted xmasy feel and my aunt loves lilies and she liked it. my little one was busy looking at the little doggy running around and daddy brought her to chase it and she wasnt scared at all and wanted to really go very near it!
my little one was in a reindeer outfit thus to match it she wore a little reindeer headband borrowed from gugu and i got one for daddy too! daddy at one point left the house to speak to a client and he was on the street wearing his headband! nice of fufu and Aunty C to give our little one a xmas present! see how baby r just can't take her eyes off it! they got a very pretty sweet dress for baby r and it was in time for the wedding dinner. looks small but when baby r tried it on, it was still alittle too big for her!
then i did a photoshoot for baby r! i got this long sleeve old navy romper for $3 and got $2 red organza and got the seamtress to sew for me and made this puffy outfit for baby r! i love her in her white stockings! mum kept complaining it was difficult to carry her and soon i changed her out of it!
food was mostly from mezza 9 but the clam spag was not and it was good but not sure where its from. got baby r to give out the candy cane gingerbread cookie to the uncles and aunties and the boxes of cookies to the granduncles and grandaunts. the boys had a special gift from the 2 youngest uncles. they had to choose on their own and they each got either g.armani, fendi, gucci tie. popo gave the present to our little sleepy one!
the giving out present to the young kids took an hour to complete! they were the happiest ones in the house! my generation cousins were also happy cos aunt o and uncle m gave us nice gifts! i got a swavoski crystal necklace! gx had a watch. of cos this year i got alot more as little one received many gifts but too bad she fell asleep and i received on her behalf. by the time we got home was past 12mn as we stayed to count down and gave uncle m a surprise cake!
25th dec. we got up early as we needed to go to the temple to pray as its gx's grandpa's d.anniversary. little one melted all gx's paternal aunts. she allowed them to carry and hugged them and even put her head down on their shoulders! after lunch at his uncle's house, we head home and got all little baby r's present displayed on the sofa! she was surrounded! she was eager to check out her gifts! only put up a few shots and i chosen the one to show how she opens her presents! using her hands, she grab hold of the present. then she uses her feet to push or tug the present she uses force and strength to pull and tear the wrapper! no one taught her... somehow she just amazed us! then she would take the present out from all the crushed wrapper!
then after she cleared all the present, daddy and mummy presented her the present we got for her 1 year ago! it was from build the bear. we made a bear and named it happy for little baby r when she was still in my tummy! somehow, when we showed her the bear, she was smiling nonstop and really liked it alot! seemed like she knew the bear! she even nose-nose it! it made gx and me really happy that she liked it!
then we squeshed her in bewteen us and had some family shots! she didnt want to be in the middle and kept wanting to get up and in the end, she got so worked up and bashed the 2 of us to break free!
gugu got little one something from HK H&M! 2 hello kitty clothings and they were so pretty! one was a silver knit wear and the other a long sleeve romper! love it! by the time she opened present from ah ma and ah gong, she had her pacifier in her mouth and was feeling tired!
gave daddy his present from mummy and baby r. it was a cap from adidas and i was sure daddy liked it as its white and with gold branding! a grey puma cap with oso gold branding! then baby r gave pils and gugu+U.ray a small token. daddy's gift to me? he brought me shopping and i got a pair of new jeans and a black pants.
**xmas tea!**
i head down to novena myself and got lamb chops with potato wedges from harrys. macaroni cheese pasta and corn niblets from kenny roger. kfc chicken with whipped potato and coleslaw for our xmas tea party! the log cake was from sil's office. they were each given a box to take home! by that time we had our meal, baby r was sound asleep. while daddy head for his fren's place for gathering, i was at cousin A's house to help out on the wedding eve.
