Apple and Pear puree & drink - baby r LOVES it!

This is good for the whole family!

Recipe for Apples and Pears Puree & Drink

2 red apples
1 huge chinese pear (li)
a pot half-filled with water

Method
Wash the fruits.
Take away the stem and clear the bottom of the apple.
Cut the huge pear into quarters.
Put the fruits into the pot and put to boil till the apples and pears turn soft!

i know the yellow pear is good for the thoart and lungs. mil asked me to add apples too. i did stewed apples for class before and its really nice! my fellow collegue taught me how to make them! the reason why i didnt cut the apples into slices as when its soft, it breaks very easily when you cut through it with a spoon! whereas pear takes a slightly longer time to get as soft as the apples! while i left the pot  for close to 45mins to an hour over the stove, i played with baby r and we went to disturb the fluey daddy. poor daddy had been out on the sofa for 2 straight days! it was sweet of him to think of us... big sacrifice! so since last friday i have been doing nite duty alone and in total of 7days! back to the apples... when its easy to cut thru the apples and scoop it out, its ready and simply mashed the apples over the sieve and get the puree only! no skin.

the apple might ooze out hot apple+pear liquid! so be careful as its hot! i use 30ml of the boiled juice to make the cereal! i added puree of almost an apple to the cereal! the smell of the pureed apple was so sweet and it was really a nice aroma! baby r was really excited to try it as she kept looking at me when i pureed the apple and she couldnt wait to get into her high chair! while daddy fed her the yummy apple brown rice cereal, i pureed the 2nd apple and kept it in an air-tight container. i saved some of the a+p soup for mixing the cereal. then i went on to puree the pear and mix it into the rest of the boiled sweet soup. i made baby r a bottle of 80ml and she finished it so quickly! i saved a 120ml of it to be kept in the fridge for tomolo! didnt put the items in the freezer as i will be giving it to her the next morning. as for the rest of the sweet soup, i sweeten it with 3 tablespoons of sugar and pureed the pear, gave it a good stir and made gx, mil, fil and myself a cup. sil wasnt gog to be home but she will sure get to try this sweet soup as i will be making it for baby r every week!
