Chinatown with Popo, Yiyi, Fufu & Aunty C!

23rd January 2010 Saturday. Woke up early to prep baby r's meals as sis was coming over to drive us down to meet popo at chinatown. too bad daddy had to work and bil had to settle some stuff can they couldnt join us. got baby r to put on the little tiger tee! i chose to wear sundress as i was afraid it might be really hot and i got scolded by my sis! she asked me why i didnt remind her and she wore jeans out!

little pipi was VERY PIPI!!! again she decided to poopoo during the car ride! she started once we hit the highway and we were all thinking where to change her! the problem is there are not many places with toilets which is baby friendly! is pretty frustrating! then sis suggested we alight at china square. we changed her in the open space where there were cement benches... chose a shady place and had to change baby r quickly but yet she couldnt stop moving! was glad that we had the portable compact cushion pad for changing baby r. its really handy. thanks to bro who helped me carry the heavy baby bag. he teased that he was my maid... i appreciate as my arms, shoulders and even feet were aching!!! baby r has gained alot of weight.

dun know why but i love it when baby r had her hand up!  she looked so cute! mum's always cuaght frowning as it was crowded and hot! baby r was fascinated with the cny red decors as we walked down the street but when we enter the tent where they sell the dried, waxed meat, she frown. she looked at the dangling waxed red meat (lap cheong) and had a wondering face and then she frowned... i laughed and told her thats not CNY decor, its food. she must be thinking who hangs such ugly cny decor???

the weather was a killer, mum kept frowning in the pics! baby r was so busy looking everywhere thou she was very tired! when we finally got to the place to get nian gao... she saw what it looks like and suddenly she thumped her head so hard on my chest and i got a shock! she was asleep! baby r's little head was wet under her hat!

Bro told mum that its the 1st year that she came to chinatown with 3 generations! first time she was in chinatown shopping for CNY stuff with her grandaughter... mum smiled.
