4th Feb 2010. i went for interview for instructor job. I got the JOB confirmation today! Its a freelance job. Its a session that can be held over 4 days or once a week for 4-6weeks. i will be instructing cooking and baking at Mayflower Sec. I work for the centre that provides trainers to the secondary school. its a special programme for normal stream students. the timing is great as its in the morning from 10am till 2pm and i have to rush home to take over from mil. I ever wanted to join the MOE to become a Home Econ teacher (by the way its known as Food and Nutrition now!) they sent my in for art teacher interview and i met a horrible HOD there and i hate her attitude!
met the students that i need to handle and they can be quite a handful... at least half seemed easy to be with... the challenge will be to watch the cooking fire and these fire around me! thou there will be a teacher from the school attached to the class... he do nothing about the behaviour prob kids and he is only attentive when the food is ready... so i really have to work out my temper and strategy... excited about it at the same time... doing something i like and i wanted to be... hopefully everything will be smooth at home and at work! starting next thursday and it will last till March! not highly paid as i got no experience but i want the chance to try, to learn, to earn some experience and pocket money!
