The Cheesecake Cafe

Had to do some adjustment to the lighting of these photos before i could post them up! The Cheesecake cafe has a nice setting cos its DARK! but dark is no good for phototaking! the place was not crowded on Sunday afternoon but there were a couple of people in the cafe and it seems like we are the only ones taking photos... so i tried not to use flash... used it only twice on gx and the service crew came over to tell me....

"you can take pictures but there must be people in the photo..." {HUH???} "you are not allowed to just take the surrounding alone...." {OF COS, we are in the pictures i took....} To be in this nice place, first rule : everyone needs to order a slice of cake! not sure about the drinks... I was already pre-warned by irene and i told gx about it before we went, thus we shared the YDFu instead...

I do like the place... cosy and different. the neo-classic pieces and the Renaissance feel... NICE! a nice place to chill out on a Sunday afternoon and it feels so timeless in there, thou all around you can spot clocks! wall clocks! table clocks and it comes in all sizes. it was a nice place till gx had to spoil my mood by bringing some home issues to our chat topic...but what to do, it a time where i am more calmed down and i can't run away or scream at him!

the very 1st photo shows how dark the photos looked without adjustment! thats how dark the place is... wonder how the place feels like in the night! How come i got pics of the place then??? I didnt break any rules... i cropped them out from the pictures we took with us in it! they are just parts of the picture that i enlarged! i love the arts on the wall, the ornaments, the sculptures but will i make my home look like that??? No. Cos its simply dusty to have all these all over the house and i am sure something will break everyday! Well, as usual, we took some silly shots of ourselves. wanted to make myself pitch black to blend into the wall using the black cushions! and gx doing his imitation of the statue behind him!
