the name of the restaurant sounds alittle corny to me... walked in and the place interior seems pretty nice. we were brought to the inner part of the restuarant and we were the only ones there! with many birdcages above us... we started to snap away once we were done ordering our food!

the captain that served us was quite good, he offered to help us take family shots and even got us 2 different setting as backdrop. if only baby r was awake! little one slept when daddy sent his watches for servicing and didnt wake up at all ... she is really tired! she didnt nap much in the morning of afternoon!

little one did wake up after awhile and we brought her around the area to take shots with her! the cherry blossoms looked too much and way too scary on the wall but it turned out quite pretty as backdrop on photos! little one was very busy looking at the place! there were many things that attracted her attention and she was kept very busy!

she couldnt take her eyes off the many lanterns hanging over our heads! she kept looking at the blinking lights that was running and changing colours. thats the lights on exteral part of the ion building thats on only in the night.

to keep baby r busy, we showed off our new tricks to papa, gugu, ah gong and ah ma! i prob watched too much highlights of the winter olympics! baby r and i have been practising skating poses! no i didnt have to forcce her legs up! she relaxes her muscle and allows me to manipulate her limbs! she simply loves playing with me! it made everyone smiled when they see her smile and pose! took some family shots with baby r as she was asleep earlier!

we ordered coffee spareribs which was ok, the salted egg prawns was not up to my expectation thou... its not bad but not as nice as the ones at crystal jade taka. the fried whitebait in salt and pepper was nice to bite but we should have spent the money on something more substantial! the tofu with the 3-layered fat meat was not bad... has to be eater together as the meat is really salted! the best dish was the dongfen crab! i like the sauce the crab was fried in as it gave the dongfen alot of flavour!  

baby r sat in her baby high chair as we ate... i gave her grains of white rice. she was impatient when i slowed down! didnt want her tummy to be taxed after 8pm with solid food! she got pretty angry! the grandparents as usual speed thru their meals and took her for a walk. this little baby sure knows how to takan her grandparents with her 360 turns and struggles! to calm her down, i took her to find our "naughty corner" but instead we had some fun looking thru the cherry blossom branches at the rest of the family!

the desserts didnt live up to my standard. didnt like their style of mango pomelo as it too icy. the durian and pulut hitam was ok not superb... the coconut was too light... could have been better if its was thicker! the ginger milk was a scare! it was very gingery... way too much for the light milk! it wasnt even custard like its very watery! prob wont try any dessert next time!
