CNY 15th - Loyang Temple

28th Feb = Last day of CNY. day 15th is also the last day of February 2010. i started the new year with not so good health, baby r was sick too and mum was down too. without realising and with a tired body... days flew past and its end of feb! i had to pray taisui ye as i fan taisui... it was impossible to turn in to shuanglin shi at all and we head home. called mum and she told me that she is following bro to loyang temple.

we met up at bedok for lunch and i ate yummy prawn mee! the porridge bro ordered was good too! had to have my favourite glutinous rice dumplings. sis' peanut soup was the nicest of the 3 kinds of sweet soup! the temple was filled with people! sis and i went ahead to pray taisui and we were surprised that we needed to go into a special q to get our information written down by the staff, paid for the prayer, given a bag of oranges and huat kueh. proceeded to light up joss stick and the priest took the paper to chant while we knelt, bowing my head when his hand gestured...

while we were all walking around the temple praying, baby r was in aunty C's arms. she had been a good girl. once we were out, we took her over. daddy carried her while aiming to hit the bell to make a wish. when we were done, baby r put her head down on daddy right away! she was very tired and her whole head was WET! she slept... she was exhausted and i got alittle worried.... i brought cherry flavoured dehydration drink and i gave her some but she was way too tired and all she wanted was to sleep.

she was awake once home... mum didnt allow us to bring her for a swim as she insisted that baby r just got well and shouldnt get into the waters yet... moreover she was in the sun for a long time at the temple.... daddy went for his 20laps while i was trying to play the slide i made to show popo her little dressed up grandaughter! mum cooked the yummiest HUGE giganto prawn and also i got to eat some yusheng as my mum kept some for me from the lo hei they had the night before!
