36th Week! Counting down starts now!

35th week was a busy week. a week that i felt very charged and tired at the same time. I am ever excited to prep for parties so i was filled with energy but tired by the end of the day with too much walking and carrying! friday was great as i baked with my good fren tab for the first time and was glad my cousin A joined us in making our first carrot cake! all who ate our carrot cake had praises! saturday party went well and i did mango sago for the first time and i need to improve on it, making it less milky! Sunday was a simple mothers day but i was happy with the porridge and avocado mum made! think both mums were happy with my bake!

but my mum's day ended with my baby actively moving non-stop in me and seems to be pushing herself down! it even hurts when i was lying down! she continously moved and i struggled out to call gx for help! when he places his hands on her and ask her to move gentlely, she stopped struggling! there were slight pulls on the sides of my tummy! Also i woke up at 3am+ and then had difficulty sleeping and kept waking up at 5am+, dose off and then i was awake again till gx went to work and i slept till 9+am on Monday!

Week 36th - woke up to continue sorting out my whole big bag of cds! music, images, dvds... didnt do much as i was feeling tired and still feeling little pulls once in awhile! then again woke up to a tuesday morning at 3am+! then suffer insomia and restless sleep... even thou raining, met cousin A to go to a new baking store in kallang. i found the information on this lady's blog. mainly there to get my Valrhona Ivory chocolates but these are some items i got from her shop!

when i saw the turquoise "quackquack" that what i call the silicon potholder, i had to have it! love the colour! then i loved the ribbons i saw, thou i dun know how i would want to use it yet for my baby gal! the best find, thou not very original, the hello kitty jelly moulds! my kido cousins and of cos in future, my baby gal is definitely gog to love jelly that these mould churn out!

thank goodness the rain stopped and we head down to PS. then we had our late lunch at Lao Beijing. We ate the hi-tea which was at $10.80 per pax. the bill came up to be $13 each. variety is not over the moon, but for the price, i find that the dishes served was reasonable. it was not too bad except that i wished the guotia, jiaozi would be served hotter! it was lukewarm and very quickly it turn cold. the XLB was at least hotter when we ate it once it land on the table! didnt fancy any of the noodles we ordered. cousin A loves the custard bun while i love the chong you bing, the spring onion pancakes! it was cooling to have 2 rounds of the almond jelly with longan in bewteen the savoury and we had a bowl of black sesame paste before we left but i personally find this too sweet. head to daiso and got some more baking stuff and 4 packets of caramel corn! bought wrappers to wrap up Ly and nesa's presents too!

Dap popped by as she had off day. at the jap fair she helped me get the jap miso-based ramen before popping by to my place. i had to stay at home to watch the aircon being repaired. then we nuah and chatted. we decided to try out the cheesecake recipe i found on Aunt Y's blog!
while waiting for the cheesecake base to chill before layering the next layer, we enjoyed the cool, mango pudding and mango sago dessert she bought! before we started, baby was moving and seems excited and i told her to hi-5 dap then she get to eat the mando desserts and sure she did as dap felt my little baby nudge her palm so hard! my baby loves mango! she likes sweets treats!
then when we were waiting for the cheese layer to chill, i finally opened up my expensive strawberry from Italy to give her a treat! i drizzled these lovely strawberries over 2 scoops of vanilla ice-cream and she loved it! i was a good gal! i didnt eat any of the ice-cream, wanted to be good with my diet but i had a small piece of strawberry in my mouth! had to have one at least!
