tuesday with ann and dap

to start of my week 18th, i cleaned up my littles boxes of treasures. to gx its junk. managed to clear 3 bags full on monday and today i am gog to rest and i went out to enjoy myself. met with ann and we head back to holland v as she promised. we went for vietnamese lunch, had my favourite grilled chicken rice with fried spring roll. ann had it for the first time and she liked it. she had the avocado drink while i had longan. then we were off to shermay. i had to pay for a class at shermay. yes i like the hands-on class but given my condition and the recipes that i will get to learn, i decided to attend the class. it will be my first baking class this year. looking forward!

also at shermay i wanted to choose some baking tools for joyce for to give her as post xmas present and housewarming gift. it was hard to decide what to buy! but for myself i got really excited to see the item i always wanted to get it on 50% DISCOUNT! been wanting to get a microplane zest grater. yes vanity but its a toy i been wanting to add to my professional baking tools in the kitchen. got my favourite teabags to give away to Mr P who was so kind to get me a $100 voucher for xmas. also i got him a kylie dvd. He's so lucky! after catching Kylie in singapore which he paid for the most ex tickets, he went for the final stop in australia to catch her too! well he happen to be back there but still he took a domestic flight to catch her before gog home! he mgs me when he was gog into the concert venue in australia! i wish i can be SO lucky! Oh BOY! further more after getting him this dvd which i had difficulty getting till last sunday, tough luck cos i didnt manage to get one for myself, it was the last piece! so i am still ... searching!

got quite a few things in this goodie bag that i got for joyce, just hope she likes it! ann and i then went to look for tops for this sunday's party. yes, we are having another themed party. so glad we both found something we liked and we are ready for the party! then went on to meet dap at clake quay! glad she could make it for tea! she was very excited when she found this churros place and i was invited to try it out with her! she missed alot of spanish treats she had in spain! it was exactly as year ago that she stayed in spain for a month!

but very disappointing we found this small open place with a little stall that is selling the churros. not disappointed that its small, its how the set up is... we expected more somehow. but still we sat down for more disapointment. we tot the churros should come with the chocolate but in the end we gota pay $1 for it and they ran out of cups and just wanted to drizzle over the churros... its not the way we know it should be eaten! so i top another $1 and ask them to put it into the bigger drinks cup for us to do the dipping...

its terrible! cos the chocolate is dripping! OMG! from what i know, the chocolate is suppose to be really thick!!! dap was not pleased and further more the churros is not very nice. so we tried and didnt like it. we gota keep on searching then! i was nagging at ann to eat more churros cos she stop after having only one or two pieces! after the churros we split. ann went for class, while dap and i went to chinatown to settle my cravings!

i wanted claypot rice and we both ate before the dinner crowd set in! then went to walk around club street and ended up at raffles place tcc for drinks. had a long talk and then we headed home. was very tired when i got home and i am glad i settled both gifts and am excited to give it to the receivers! tomolo i will be seeing my baby again! we are gog for detailed scan!
