the long weekend in Sept!

Gosh! opening this post for the 4th time! after typing the paragraph below... managed to update alittle more and went onto settle baby's needs... but she had very wet poo diaper and it was time to bring her to see doc... stomach flu... so baby's on soy milk and med. feeding change to 60ml an hour... after 1st feed, bath her, blinkblink it was time for 2nd feed!!! then she slept for 3hours and i managed to catch a wink knowing she didnt need milk... and med is working on her... now she is asleep after 2hours awake and only when daddy talked to her over the phone, is she willing to shut her sleepy eyes... monitoring her and i must update this before she wakes up!!! i got lots more to update!!!

didnt manage to post yesterday as baby now has started turning by herself and getting very active and i have to keep an eye on her! she like to flip herself over and i can't stop her once she is awake and if she is lying on the bed... for sure she would challenge to turn herself even thou if there's an obstacle! also she poopoo 3times yesterday... hope she is ok cos daddy is down with bad hit of flu... again.... i have been mostly on my own for the last 3days for the afternoon and nite shift! ok... back to updating!!!

Sept 18th Friday - photo of the play area for my little gal! in the nite, this becomes daddy's lala land... little rach has been on the big bed with me everynite since she threw up on grandma's bdae. daddy has been out on the couch. so i created an area where daddy sleeps like a korean on the playmat, fluffed with comforter in a small area... big sacrifice by Papa for our little gal!

Sept 19th Saturday - 7th month has finally passed... woke up early in the morning as i was gog to meet my fren irene who spent soooo many days travelling alone in Tokyo! oh sooooo envy! ask if i dare to really travel alone without anyone in that country = no! she is so brave! I was alittle late as i need to settle my baby's needs before having bkfast with her at Mac. She got me a very pretty My Melody umbrella from Sanrio Land in Japan... hope i can go there with my gal someday! its more like fulfilling my wish! We chatted about travels and of cos about little Rach. Irene was hoping to see little one but she was fast asleep after milk and lucky i didnt bring her along as it rained very heavily!

little one woke up when i got home and i showed her the nice umbrella and till now i still haven opened the jap chocs from irene! so nice of her to shower us with nice gifts!to thank her i treat her bkfast and got her a box of sweet pastry. will be meeting up with her for a project in november!

played with little one and we both fell asleep on the couch and daddy went to central to get me a gift! but he came back with only a receipt! he told me that the fair ran out of stock and they will send us the products. he got me an OTO Power Tap! and he said thou its suppose to be free... he believes its already calculated as a package, it came with a free OTO Eye Revive and a free hand massager. he said that its a "give-birth" reward, not an anniversary gift! he wanted to get me something since Rachel's birth and this hopefully helps to relieve my neck and back pain.

we went back to mum's a little late and both mum & sis had waited very long for our little darling's arrival. but little one cried non-stop when Popo carried her! she was throwing tantrum and cried non-stop till i carried her. then we went into the room to change her diaper and sis came in to ask little one "Dun you remember Yiyi? Why u cry when i carry you? i am yiyi, remember?" ... you won't believe it... my little gal replied... yes she did answer Yiyi... daddy, Yiyi and of cos, me... we all saw and we were all shocked with baby's answer!!!

Lit Rach kept shaking her head! yes she shook her little head and then gave Yiyi a mischief expression! Yiyi teased crying "how come! you dun remember yiyi ah" and she shook her head again! OMGoodness.... my gal understand Yiyi's question? after Yiyi pretended to be angry, after she left the room, rachel smiled cheekily!!!

mum tried cooking briyini chicken and rice. the result was fantastic cos the whole smelt soooo good! the whole house was spiced up! made me soooo hungry that i was the very 1st to eat! it taste very good! mum is in love with mustafa! she loves the supermarket there and esp the spices there!

mum is always happy when everyone likes what she cooks! mum is always very excited when she tries new dishes! i am like her just that she dun know she is like me... mum also likes when everyone gathers together! she looks forward to see everyone on the weekends. Aunt O came back from Tokyo and she got lit Rach something from tokyo disney! Before Aunt O left she did ask if i wanted anything from Disney! i told her i wanted tinkerbell stuff if she could find any! the gift came in a Halloween Mickey bag! pretty!

hope i will be able to bring my gal to disneysea one day... love the items Aunt O got for our little gal! the gold little pair of fork and spoon is sooo pretty! the tinkerbell brooch lits up and love the illumination! the most impressive gift of them all is the FAN! the portable fan is not only pretty, handy and useful to cool baby... its impressive cos the fan led creates patterns as mean little machine creates wind!

First it starts with a mickey pattern then it shows the words Tokyo, next word Disney and lastly Resort. then it shows many mini mickey patterns before a big flower appears and the whole process repeats! Neat! amazed with the japs!

Sunday 20th Sept. when i woke up after a nite of uncomfortable sleep, baby was missing! mum woke up super early and brought baby who woke up equally early, for a walk! daddy and i left baby with sis and mum's care and we head to taka for our long awaited massage at true spa... dun like the way the spa is operating... difficult to book and weird! they have the jacuzzi rooms available but they didnt let us have it saying the place is fully booked ... take its as the couple is not there yet... they gave us a room that has the tub but they say it broken down... whatever... good thing is that the lady that did my massage is very good and gave me good advice for taking care of my post-birth body. we then head to kinnokuniya... in less than 10mins... after checking out 3 books... i made them mine! i love the books i got and hope to use them soon!

got back to mums and i got out the hand-down toy box... No its BOXES! went thru it and the treasures i find for our little gal = endless! i sort them out and gave M a box to send home for her kids. I can't possibly house that many toys! imagine 5 different elmos! small, med, large and different fur and they can do different stuff like one can sing! one can wiggle! didnt bring them home yet as i still need to tidy up gal's stuff which is all over the house before i can bring her new toys home!

Monday 21st Sept. its holiday! Hari Raya and my pils are off. suppose to go ikea in the morning but we cancelled it as we were invited for lunch! Mil's sis, gx's aunt was gog to give us a treat! We head to tiong bahru plaza and we were there for a buffet. steamboat, teochew porridge and zichar dishes buffet. with baby, it kept us very busy... my little one is very curiuos, always looking around and we took turns to walk her about the mall and only grandpa managed to get her to rest! the best dish has to be the fried durian! its like creamy durian coated in goreng pisang batter! nice! the durian ice-cream is not bad too
when little one is awake, she is entertained by her new toy! We got her 2 lanterns from the plaza! my mum has asked me to look for lantern for her grandaughter so i got one for mum but ah gong paid for both lantern! got her My Melody and a rubber ducky lantern!

Sil was very "camera-active" and she was so nice to keep taking of her little niece! suggested taking group shot with Rachel since the whole family is at home! little one can be quite cheeky! looking everywhere when we are taking shots together! she even boxed her aunt! poor sil! my gal uses bull strength whenever she uses her hands and esp her legs, they are super powerful!

when we were changing baby, i stop the top at her neck and called for sil! we started taking Lady Gaga inspired shots! baby didnt make much noise about the veil as she is very playful! we showed baby her new bathing toys that we got from the mall! Fil paid for it thou! i got the new swimming buddies to encourage her to sit up during bathing and to prevent her from bumping her head!!! she always love to stretch and making sure she bumps her head everytime! as she is getting stronger, she uses alot of strength to push herself, hope this works out and she quits bumping her head!

when gx and i were at taka, we did go take alook at the lanterns at the mooncake fair... the lanterns were disappointing but something caught my eyes from the Jap tea counter next to it... the hotair balloon lanterns were very pretty! i asked the gals if they are on sale.... and they were! only 2 left! 1 pink and the other blue... if i was still working... i would have gotten both! but i chose pink at 1st then changed my mind and tot sky blue would be a more lasting colour to look at! i hung it above our bed and baby Rach loves it! she would lie on the bed and stare at the swaying hotair balloon!

hand sil the club21 new catalougue and she came to me to show me the strings attached to the mag! i tot it was printed on the plastic that wrap it but it was real threads! the amount of money spent just to get that effect...

celebrated mooncake festival that very nite! unplanned but it was nice to have it as sweets after dinner! we prep tea to go with the snowskin mooncakes SIL and bf got. there was 2 goodwood durian and 1 mango pomelo sago snowskin mooncake and 3 mini but best snowskin flavour ... Raffles Hotel's Champagne truffle! i tried the mango 1st and it was nice! icy cold filling as we thaw it not very long in the fridge transferred from the freezer! but my 2nd pc of mango... it was alittle way bitter as there were too much pomelo in it! the durian was not bad, but i really would rather spend my money on Raffles' hotel one and truly yummilicious champagne truffle snowskin mooncake! so glad sil got this giving a nice touch for the long weekend!
