humid and tired we were and the worse thing to see was a super long Q at the taiwan food fest! its a monday and its packed! jam up and so hard to get around the place. nope i didnt even bother to take any photos cos i felt so frustrated to be stuck in the small area that had so many people packed in queues! we turn back and walked along river and took some shots with our animal horoscope lantern instead.
when it was my fil's turn to take with his Tiger lantern, baby R woke up! that sure made ah gong happy! think it was the music from the performance stage that woke her up! she had missed her nap and played so hard and woken up so fast and i was so worried about her getting home and she might not get back to sleep so easily cos she had her power nap!
there was a corner that was organised by some hui guan, guessing lantern riddles. looks complicated! not sure how it works even after staring at if for 3mins! the light up wasnt that exciting but its hard to find places to go to see such lantern display... i still remember the disney lightup at chinese garden it was pretty amazing to see the characters mould out of lantern materials!
glad that baby R opened her eyes before we left the place as we came esp for her!
where to view nice lightups next year for lantern fest? hope there will be more places to check out next year!
