thank you for all the well-wishes!

right now i am expressing milk with our 2 day old medela swing milk-pump. typing with one-finger! the other hand holding on to the pump! its our 6th day with our baby gal rachel... she is a newborn with lots of character! 1st 3.5 days sailed rather smoothly except the bf was the new experience that needed alot of time to work on! then on saturday, we got discharged and we are doing our 1 month confinement at my mum's place. both of us & our families think its better to stay away from the renovations above our house.

so esp to shanice - we are sorry we are unable to fill u in the stories of our experience! gx started but he is not done with the entry... i have not read his draft as i wanted to give him his privacy and rights to finish before i read. so shanice i dun know when but most likely u will be back in singapore to hear our story! the experince of understanding our baby is more labour-intensive than my op as baby can only cry to express themselves!

Many Thanks & Love to EVERYONE!!!

didnt want to make those who came by to visit us wait. to thank them i am going to post the photos eveyone took with Rachel! thank you for taking precious time to come by and those who didnt make it we understand! so no worries!

thank you for all the support, love and well-wishes! we love all the thoughts and gifts showered upon our family! Many thanks once again! Truely, after the birth of our daughter, we know the difficulties our parents went thru to bring us up... these few days especially, we are showered with care and love from our parents... i am very grateful to my mum who is preparing everything she can to make my stay so comfortable and provided for! i am thankful to My in-laws and my mum for being very understanding and forgiving me as i threw tantrums and had many mood swings caused by my frustration with breastfeeding. Lastly, i need to thank a special couple.

My dear friend Penny and her husband Eugene. Somehow, they called at the right time to annouced that they have became my neighbours as they have bought an unit at the Peak. I just cried over the little milk i managed to express, feeling very depressed and stressed about continuing with breastfeeding. But my friend readily came to my rescue with my request to see her at my place. She educated not only gx and me in BF issues, teaching us the smart way to handle our problem, they gave us support by speaking and clarifying my mum's doubts and i was so happy after their arrival and support they brought us. I am so lucky to have a friend in them and they somehow or rather always gave us the needed good advice whenever we ran into wall! from dating, to wedding and the crucial issue on hand -BF. Thank you once again for popping by esp for us and rachel. From the bottom of our hearts, Gx, Rachel and me - thank you so much! We are so much happier because of you guys, THANK YOU!
