after collecting the card and vouchers, we head in to eat. I was bad, i totally forgot about the lunch date i had with gx... he didnt call back and when he did i didnt hear my phone and worse, i was starving! by the time i heard the phone, i hace oredi ordered a table full of dishes! so hungry we grab a plate of avocado sushi! then came the peas, then the ebi and veg tempura don came next and we were kept so busy! soon, the fried squid came but i felt the squid wasnt cripsy enough! then the cold chasoba with pork cutlet came. didnt like the chasoba texture and guess with all the food, the noodles wasnt cold enough and became sticky... didnt like the pork as it was alittle tough and prob we ate it when it was cold ....
the baked mayo scallop was really good! I LOVE this! the scallop was huge and the baked mayo sauce was heavens with it! we talked quite abit as we ate! i keep having different dishes as we talked! the dish that had us waiting for 20mins.... my favourite ebi mentai! somehow, recently whenever i take photo my eyes seems to blink or appear small! We were both filled! i hate it when i given a 2 seater at sushi tei! lucky we changed to the booth seat and i think the waitress is surprised! we managed to have the table filled with dishes! as i tot i was gog to give birth today, i treat myself with a good meal and its been awhile since i jap.
got a new top from island shop. 70% of $133! it was a good buy and i had a further 10% discount when i paid with mastercard. then head home to tpy, nice B accompanied me to tpy station and on the train, told him the favour i needed from him. he agreed readily to help me. then before gog home, i popped into phamacy to get myself a guard and i was happy i did so! it provided better support and reduce the pain! when i got home, gx was unhappy i forget about the lunch appt.... and he got pretty pissed when i told him the time i was given for our appt.... 4.30pm! he was hopping mad! but no choice as i told him that when i just called in to double check, nurse said the gynae has gone for emergency op... i cooled him by serving him some ice-cream!
after the short rest, we prep and went for our appt. i was really unsure if we will be told to induce the baby! so alot went thru my brain! to induce or not to... i was very cheeky... after having our temp taken, we are always given a sticker, so i decided not to spoil me woolly top and i paste the sticker on my baby belly! when gx asked baby if she wants to come out today so that if we are asked to induce her, we did ask her.... gx put his hand on my tummy and asked "today or tomolo" and she kicked non-stop! then gx laughed and exclaimed "what did that meant!" i found the expression so funny and feeling the kicks made it ticklish! also we asked if she was trying to get the sticker away! both of us love to imagine what our baby is thinking!

gynae checked and told us she did move down but its not time yet and she is still healthy and enough fluid to support her till 9th even to the 12th which is the lastest she can stay in! Gynae's advice to us, to monitor her and give her a few more days to make it full term 40 weeks! he said she was measure 3,8kg! but this time, he told us that always take away 10% of the estimated by the scan as that will be more accurate! so she is about 3,4kg! he told us not to worry and let her be and she will know when she wants to come along!
alot of people knew it was the day. Family members, our close friends and collegues were all on standby, waiting for our calls! when we both went to the lobby, we decided to mass send the msg out on the baby status and at the same time, we receive many mgs even before we sent out! after we sent out, we both receive even more mgs! Both of us are very grateful for everyone's concern and well-wishes! But our little one is still staying in and happily playing but she is working on pushing down! somehow after today's appt, i felt alittle relieve as my gynae did not rush us into delivery but gave our little one somemore time to decide on her own THE DAY she wants to be born. think gx didnt want to decide but wanted to hear doc's opionion 1st and i wasn't ready to decide for her too! Waiting game is still on!
went home to see mum. she was on half day as the cable guys came to fix up the wiring. we persuaded her not to cook and we went to eat out. we went to the seletar restaurant opposite my mum's place. we ordered the famous general tao's chicken which was not bad, the gailan was quite nice, uncle k liked it very much. while mum, gx and uncle k had beef horfun which i know my sis loves is nice, i had the fish horfun which was not bad. mum ordered the dongbo rou with steamed buns and it was nice, the meat was firm but soft and not too oily! the little clear glass teacups used here are really cute! uncle k ordered a durian pudding and i had a little spoon of it as gx still doesnt allow me to eat durians... went back to mums and the oranges mum bought were not sour at all, it was sweet!

had little chat with mum about baby, the peak flat and before i went into the car, i insisted mum feel my tummy! she is very reluctant like my mil! she said the same thing as my mil! last time people never go feel other people's tummy one! but i took her hand and had her to feel baby's little feet! she broke into a smile and i got her to move her hand to the centre of baby belly to feel how firm her little grandchild is! mum smiled as we left to head home to rest after the whole day of anticipation!
