when we got home after dinner, i decided to let little Rachel give daddy the "present" she prepared! when everyone was ready, the music started and baby r & i danced to Wonder Gals' Nobody esp for daddy! baby R loves that song and she loves watching the mtv! somehow, when i was dancing with her one of the days, this song came about and i moved her hands to the music and she loves it! so we practice when daddy's bdae got nearer and daddy loved her performance! no pics as sil took a video! then baby r rested on her tummy and suddenly playing with sil, doing Hi10! and they both looked so cutez! daddy kept making the WeeWungWung sounds! like some old fighting scene! baby r gota pretty tired and we both fell asleep and i didnt get to wish daddy at mn!
October 26th Monday. daddy took leave on his bdae. We left the house early as i managed to book massage for both of us. the massage was good as i could feel the pain piercing my bones... down with flu thus body ache like crazy! when bought simple lunch and after eating, daddy took a nap with baby r while i got busy trying so hard to update as much as i could! turned around to check on both of them and love what i saw so i took a shot of them sleeping! little rach had her hand stretched out, touching daddy! so sweet... haha but daddy didnt know as he was so sound asleep!
then we all prep to go out for dinner. the next gift baby R got for daddy was .... to dress herself up like a present! she was in a very cute pinky romper that had a very sexy fluffy bottom! and what makes her a present? theres a HUGE pink ribbon bow on the front of the romper!
little R made daddy very happy... his wish came true and we finally celebrate his bdae, having our very own family! little gal loves dressing up and gave daddy the sweetest smile and that melted gx!
wanted to take some pretty shots for baby R but she was too impatient! she was afraid she dun get to go thus managed to take very few shots thus not much variations! need to thank Aunt O for this pretty romper! i kept praying that this romper would fit little Rach for daddy bdae and it fitted beautifully!
tried to take a pic of the back of the romper where it had fluffy frills! love the shot where she turn to me and i managed to capture grandad and daddy in the pic! her outfit is so beyonce! thru the dinner, she was carried around the restuarant which was not crowded with us each turning turn! dear drove very far to get us to have dinner at the Lotus Restaurant? its all the way in Jurong! he had lunch with client here and he liked the food. so he wanted to bring us here for dinner.
the food is thai-chinese. i like the tomyam soup! the taste was just right, not too sour and flavourful. the fried chicken served with fried onions which had some kind of bbq sauce was not bad. kangkong was gx's favourite. the olive fried rice was why were here as gx tot his parents would like but mil tot it was more like fried rice. wonder if the main chef is off on Mondays... the food was not bad but it wasnt fantastic like dear had described... i like the cripsy fried fish! the egg omelette had huge prawns in them and i think dear wanted some simple dishes and some thai specialty for his bdae but mil tot the dishes was too simple. for dessert i ordered the honeydew sago which was nice and love the coconut taste!
little one didnt sleep thru the car ride and we quickly sang daddy his bdae song and so glad she looked so alert. as usual, once the candles blown, she starts to feel sleepy! served the lemon pound cake with mashmellow as i didnt have time to make creamcheese frosting.
so how do you eat a gigantic colourful rainbow pound cake? daddy chose some bright-coloured spoons to go with the cake!
