woohooo! Happy 45th National Day Singapore!
after the party, we rushed home to feed baby R and we changed her into her National Day Clothings! i need to thank my mil for being so understanding. I am my family's SMS centre. any news that need to be spread to all the family members, i will be told and i would be the call centre to inform everyone. When i first received the news, my heart dropped. i want to be part of the celebration too.... but Nday was on Monday and my inlaws are not working and we were suppose to stay home with them to watch the Nday together.... Gx told mil on Sunday nite and my mil told us that we should go and join the rest in my family. she say its an opportunity not to be missed.... i was over the moon! THANK YOU MA! my heart raced as we drove towards our destination!
the worry was if we will get a lot in the hotel.... as we drove in and nearer, daddy turned to go into the South carpark. He made a good choice as we got a lot easily! he was there before at the loading bay and knew there was another carpark entry... so he skipped the queue into the north carpark. We were really lucky to park and easily got onto the buggy infront of our car! but it was a super long walk to where we needed to be. Tower 2. my first walk thru the huge building.... its so big! when we got to Tower 2, i couldnt find the lift to 52nd floor...
we had to walk to the back of the lift lobby to take the quieter lift up to the 52nd floor. when the door opened... the view was magnificient! oh gosh the view was breathe taking! we could see the floating platform and the sky view was so beautiful under the hot sun!
i was taken away and i was really excited to see the room ....
it was huge! when we walked in, my aunts and uncle were in the karaoke room, singing away! cosy lights, good sound systems and the setting resembles a very nice KTV.... then i saw the butler in the room.... gosh! wow! weeeee! then i saw the living room.... HUGE! with the glass panel that stretch from one end of the room to the other.... big sofa set, there was a desk, dining table, side tea-table with 2 chairs and a grand piano! way to go!
masterbed room... huge bed, 2 side chairs.... tv.... and 3 doors. one to the bathe room. big space given to the bathe room. theres one vanity counter for each couple to use, tub, shower room .... but not fascinated with the packaging of the toiletries thou.
the doors to the "rooms" are small... the room behind the tv is the study room. it wasnt that small.... there was a huge desk, there was a huge tv in the room prob for internet. Can't remember which door we walked into and where did we get in from, we chanced upon another small door that led us into the massage room, the gym and we saw a comfy chair for washing hair! this is prob for in-house hair-cut serivce!
according to my sis, this isnt the presidential suite!
the long hall way, the many facilities in the room but this room doesnt have the presidential tag at the door!
the sunny sun had a greenhouse effect and the room was pretty warm with jus the few of us in the room... the view was magnificient and we could see the padang filled with people. the monuments area were also filled with people and i am really thankful for the chance to be up at 52nd storey to celebrate our nations' 45th bdae!
Love the grand piano! The usual Neo Espresso and TWG teas is of cos a delight. my aunt O asked me to take 2 tins of chinese tea home. One for my mum and the other i kept as i love the simple yellow canister. i have also taken one flavour of each teabags but i yet to sit down to sip hot tea!
there is a pantry room where there is a fridge and sink for washing stuff. the kidos slept on a queen-sized bed and the room is so long. the bath room is huge too. with a tub but prob not a jacuzzi tub and most of us loved the warmed-toilet seat! this toilet seat comes with lots of buttons!
good thing we were early as i got to take pic of the place when its in perfect condition before its filled with people!
i totally enjoyed myself with the grand piano! love it!
the butler smiled at me in surprise when i started playing. much later, he came over to ask me the title of the song i played. He liked the theme from Forest Gump which he found it very familiar but had no idea which movie the song was from.
wish i have one of this.... well, it was good enough it belonged to me for the nite.
