6 more days to baby R's 1st birthday! but sadly on the other hand daddy is in Shanghai and won't be able to make it back for her very first birthday. 32 more days to go before we see daddy again. keeping myself busy with baby r's party photos. i had to collect them all, put it into different folders as there were lots of photos - party details, the things that goes on during the party and everyone's photo! i selected some to photoshop and that took up most of my time while baby r naps. that keeps my mind busy fr worrying too much for gx's safety in China.

First day when gx arrived, he is super busy cos once touched down, he settled himself and prep to leave for work straight away! he managed to let us know he has arrived safely and we waited till night time to chat with him again. i managed to fix up the webcam jus before he got online. it was great that we could communicate but too bad baby R has gone to bed. my pils were happy to see him online and able to hear him. Funny thing was Gx didnt had any shanghainese food but HK food. same for the 2nd day, he told us last nite that he had HK food for lunch and taiwanese for nite! 2nd day with the webcam, we had trouble logging on. either he can see me or i can't see him! we had to reboot a few times and we finally saw each other but on my side, we couldnt hear him! so he type his answers when we asked him questions! but when baby r was awaken by grandpa's voice, he called back so that she could hear his voice! when she saw daddy on the com.... she was alittle taken back. she didnt want to sit on my lap to talk to papa, so she stood behind my chair, hugging my mil, trying to keep her eyes open as long as she could! it was almost a thin line but she pushed her limits and open it as wide as she could to peep at daddy.

the sweetheart woke up on Thursday morning, plonk herself over the poohbear pillow and looked at daddy's mattress.... and she said Papa so sweetly a few times.... i grab my hp hoping to record it down but she found that i was awake and she stopped calling and started to disturb me so that i can't return to sleep! thou she fell asleep thru the car ride till we got home from the airport.... she seemed to know... daddy didnt return with us.... i controlled my teary emotions and played with her as i pretended to sleep and she tried with her mit to get me up!

thru the day, she kept pointing to our room, directing my mil to bring her in and she points to the photos. my mil would pick up the family shots and name all the people on that frame.... she would have a sweet gentle smile when she saw papa.... she refused her late afternoon nap and she waited with me for daddy to call.... cleaned her up and read to her and she started to yawn... she grabbed my book and hide it under her and she even bent my book cover which i simply cannot tolerate but i didnt flare at her. i see the poor little gal trying so hard to fight sleep just to hear daddy.... dun think she knew she was able to see daddy! called gx's hp and he didnt picked up .... told baby r that daddy is busy and will be late.... she was rather disappointed and being really sleepy... she snuggled to a corner and slept. glad she woke up to see papa but she was rather in shock. but she managed to sleep thru the nite and didnt wake up in the mid.... she woke up at 7am thou and she refused to fall asleep with me!

hope that tonite the webcam will work properly.... with image and sound.... please... hope daddy can knock off early no need to entertain and baby r gets to chat with him!
