June 1st - June 2nd, daddy took 1.15am SQ flight to Shanghai. will be back after 35days in China. we were at the airport at 10.35pm and my mum + bro surprised us at the airport. it was nice to see them come send Gx off. called mum earlier at 8+pm but she didnt mention about coming! my inlaws, sil + bf had dinner with us at the xinwang cafe. Very late dinner! gx came home late and last minute had to stuff things into his luggage. prep me with his credit card payment and sang baby R an early birthday song before we could leave the house and my mum & bro arrived at the airport when we were only just about to leave the house!

Yes, Gx wot be around on baby r's 1st bdae on June 10th... something he felt bad but we recorded the bdae song daddy sang and i am sure to chat with him online on her big day! baby r knows.... we have been telling her about daddy's departure to Shanghai for sometime.... when mil and i spoke about the time we needed to go to the airport and if daddy was on his way home.... baby R suddenly called Papa.... a very sweet gentle voice repeating Papa, a few times... i teared. she gave me a hug.

i was changing baby R's diaper when daddy came home.... she was calling Papa a few times and mil sneaked out to get daddy to quietly come hear her call him... little one is very stubborn and smart.... she knew daddy was home and when i asked her to say papa again.... she gave me a cheeky look. we had many family hugs at home.... a few months back, we started the "family hug" routine before daddy went to work. we taught baby R to put one hand on daddy and one on my shoulder and we would kiss her and hugged each other tightly. Last month, she initated many family hugs by having both her arms stretched out and grabbing both of us with might! the newest thing we started last week was "happy family cheer"! we would stack our hands together and say 1,2,3 and call out HAPPY FAMILY and wave out hands in the air. baby R likes it but gets rather shy about it!

We had many family hugs at the airport. baby r also hugged daddy tightly when he carried her. she looked so sad and yes she hugged daddy very tightly.... all of us could tell, she was sad.... when i told her to give papa a kiss on his lips, she did. when i asked her to call papa.... she held back.... but when she knew papa was heading in soon.... she called him in her sweetest voice when he carried her.... everyone prob felt the warmth from this little baby. she called him non-stop and started rattling off in her baby language, she had so much to tell daddy....

she had her eyes fixed on daddy as papa cleared the custom.... she knocked on the panel to get daddy's attention. ( she knocks on the kitchen glass door everyday to get my attention whenever i cook her porridge) when daddy finally turned around, baby r gave a BIG smile and when she saw daddy waved to her, she waved back. as daddy walked we followed and we continued to wave to each other. we stopped and i got baby r to send flying kisses to daddy and she clapped and smiled at daddy. it was difficult for papa to walk away ..... but he had to as his gate is a far walk! when we reach the carpark gx called and he sounded sad. he sent me a message before he board the plane and before he switched off his hp.... he said he miss baby r and me already .... i came home, sent him a pic of our little family. chosen one with baby r looking pipi as i hope that cheers him up when he sees it once he lands in Shanghai! my mil got me to send a message she wanted to convey in the same email and its great!

Think positive all the time! Do not stress yourself out. Stay Calm and think positive to solve things out. Do your thing and no need to worry about home. Nan Er Zhi Zan Si Fang. Do your best! Dun take set back too hard as they are learning steps to sucess.

i am so proud of you little ning ning! you made daddy's heart melt when you called Papa.

i am glad you did it as it gave dear daddy a very warmth feel, thou it made daddy alittle sad to leave us, it touched not only his heart but the people who came to send him off. thank you to my mum, bro and uncle cum his boss who came down esp, my sil's bf who rushed over after his OT and to my sil and pils who stood by me and baby r. Thank you!
