coming back from the market, i didnt have time to boil the sweet potato so i took some barley from the drink and mashed them before adding to the brown rice cereal. i added milk to the cereal instead of using barley to give it more taste as barley is pretty bland. baby r likes it.
baby r broke her vegeterian meals on the 13th Janaury as i added silver fish to her porridge... the book say whitebaits and mil told me silver fish is the same as whitebaits. it smelt pretty fishy to me... personally, i dun like it cos its really fishing and slimy when i washed it! i still used the veg stock and pureed peas and carrots for the porridge. baby r ate her porridge and i guess she finds it ok... but i hate the fishy smell that stuck to my finges!
dun think i want her to be eating any more this silver fish after we are done with this packet that mil bought. i did a check on silverfish and it isnt whitebait... they refered whitebait to mackeral family but didnt show any pictures of how it looks like...will be starting her next week or prob weekend on cod. all my little cousins ate cod fish porridge. i am making an entry on baby r's weaning progress i will post it up after she starts on cod fish to keep a record on the things she has been eating! when she turns 8mths old, i will be making a new menu!
