16th Janaury. daddy went down to swim his laps. sis and i changed baby r and we went down to look for daddy. baby r was excited the whole day about getting her 1st swimwear. i brought her to daddy and when she 1st touch the water... she cried. daddy comforted her and got her to move in the water with daddy holding her close to him... but still she cried!
she seemed afraid! she cried Mommmmmi. i took her over and wrap her in a towel. daddy got up and we moved to the baby pool... when baby r was in daddy arms, she instantly cried Mommmi. and she shivered! when i held on to her and got her to get her feet wet while daddy was in the water... she didnt want and cried and looked away from the water...
i wrapped her up and brought her up to my uncle's place. she didnt look happy. bath her and gave her warm hugs to calm her down. she smiled when gonggong played with her. daddy was rather disppointed that baby r cried and seemed afraid of the waters.... cos he was so looking forward to swim with her and esp he is a water baby himself! he was also worried that baby r might develop phobia for water...
we wanted to try again tommorrow afternoon but we decided to stop for awhile and get her to watch other kids swim 1st. just called daddy to tell him that baby r cried in her sleep and it was really loud and she looked scared.... i have to cuddle her tightly to calm her down before she could stop her tears! hopefully she didnt develop fear for the big pool....
