i have been wanting to come to this educational supply shop for the longest time! i have known of this place since working in etonhouse as asst. teacher. i am very hard to please in terms of graphics for kids and the overall presentation of charts.... so i was very happy to see the kind of chart that in terms of learning its a great chart and its also aesthetically pleasing... after all the time i work in SAS, i fell in love with the fact that they get to learn with such beautiful tools and i want that for my girl too!
no i haven got to use it yet.... i am not pushing my gal to learn all this now! the place is not exactly assessible for me so i grab what i can afford 1st and seems useful for her. esp the charts, i hate folded or rolled up charts.... i like it flat. i like my girl to play more than anything! i read to her and do go thru some words cards ... to make her sleepy! well, she enjoys learning and is a very curious little one!
the main item i was looking for was a card holder. they didnt have the one i have in mind. the one available, it was way too big for home use. saw a much better choice and i was glad they didnt have the wall unit holder! the table card holder was a good choice! it can be kept flat when its not in use and both side of the pyramid can be used! i took some cards that i have and slot it in just to see if it works for me.... and YES! cos baby r was interested, she kept looking at what i was doing with the cards and pyramid! i still emphasis alot of baby r's activities to PLAY. i play children songs for her, classical, rock, pop, chinese, cantonese, japanese, korean and english songs for her! she loves turning her head around to see ads. some ad jingles make her turn her head! alot of physical exercises we do together like dance, stretches and bumping around together! she now get massaged every nite... she doesnt sleep till she get her session!
