By chance... the paper bag handle jammed my wardrobe sliding door.... the cut the string and took out the items from the bag... Viola! little ms R was willing to leave the huge flower on her head! got my camera and started snapping away! showed her the photos and she smiled! a few months back when i got these headbands and flowers... she kept pulling it off and refused it!
i got the flowers from daiso. its actually a flower attached to a rubber band for tying hair. then i got a few kind of headband from the neighbourhood store and baby r only like this towel-like head band which cost $0.70. this fitted her head well among the different headbands i bought. then i just simply loop the flower with the headband = save $$$! cos these headbands with flowers and crystal would have cost a bomb! when i wanted to make these, it was only for photoshoot. i am personally not very keen to let her wear it when she is out. so glad my efforts were fruitful after so many months and so glad the string jammed the wardrobe door! my favourite pic for the 1st nite would be this shot! her cheeks are so chubby, with a little missy look!
next day, in the afternoon, the bag stayed close to my side of the bed and i decided to change the flower on the pink headband... baby r was not so in the mood and for her personal shots, it was tough capturing her as she kept pulling off the headband. then i put the white flower onto another headband and wore it and she smiled at me! took a shot of us together and showed it to her... she was more willing to leave the flower on her head and we managed to have some fun and laughter when we saw the pics together!
26th friday nite... as planned, we were going to play dress up! daddy was away for d&d at pines country club. on some hot dancing music and followed by songs by ono lisa and we snapped the night away! i put on a pink headband for baby r and she left it on and i quickly changed her into her new pink dress! she looked sooo girly! but after awhile she did pull of the headband but in exchanged for smiling shots! i changed into a repeated pattern print top and put on the huge sunglasses daddy got for me! trying to do retro too... daddy was supposed to come home to take some shots with me... wanted to also have some fun dressing up and take shots with daddy.... but it didnt happen...
lucky sil had some shots with daddy instead on the 25th! while i was helping him to choose items to assemble a retro look, sil came home in her japanese school uniform. i was waiting that nite to see her in her school themed costume! love the shoes she was wearing! she got them from her last hk trip! she came back just in time as i had assembled gx in a sort of retro look! they took some shots together and even baby r was awaken by our laughter!
daddy's d&d was retro themed. the big wawa was part of 5 gods wawa team that represented his company in the d&d performance segment. the 5 big wawa would do TaiKe dance. he said the dolls' head almost weigh up to 20kg! the dance is pretty fast steps and gosh can't imagine how tired the shoulders and the head will be after the exhasuting wait before the performance and after the dance! daddy had to entertain... so he drank... way too much and to top it, on an empty stomach...so when he was sent home with my cousin W's help.... he went to bed immediately. coming home at 2am, i was already asleep after the exhausting photoshoot i had with baby r. so no retro couple pic...
daddy did loot home some pokka dotted balloons and baby r loved it! when she woke up, daddy got up to bring her the surprise. baby r was in a almost retro-feel, many coloured hearts long sleeved romper the nite before and i wore long stocking for her when she slept. thanks to helen for this lovely carter romper! long wanted to let baby r wear this over the CNY esp on VD! but we didnt get to do so! playing dress up and doing the photoshoot for baby r was fun but tiring! Its definitely worth it thou!
